a very early start in the morning, we drove to the airport and dropped the car off at about seven o'clock and then got the bus to the terminal. before we left the car we took a photograph of our final mileage. this doesn't include the millions of miles we driv in marty's car either.
after a quick mcdonalds in the airport we got on the plane. coming into philadelphia was a bit of a nightmare because there was loads of turbulence - it was well frightening.
in phildelphia we had a quick beer before the final leg of us trip and we were talking to a lass who bizarrely was on her way to keele. then it was on to the plane, flying all the way back to amsterdam.
when we got back to schiphol, colin got on a train and me and ben got a taxi. it was nice to be back home after such an amazing trip, but part of us will always be back out there, out on the open road. i should probably learn to drive at some point.
